LookFantastic Beauty Box // September 2016

Hi guys,
So for the last few months, my mum and I have been sharing the monthly Look Fantastic boxes. This month I was lucky enough to get the whole box to myself (mwah hahahaaaaaa!) so here it is in all of its glory!

The box itself is super cute and has the usual quote on the inside. This month's is 'do more of what makes you happy', which I thought was lovely as ever. The distinctive thick shredded card is blue and the whole box has a lovely teal colour. This month, there were six things inside the box:
BareMinerals Marvellous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready
Arian Liquid Gold Multi-Tone BB Cream
Christophe Robin Purifying Shampoo
Bliss Lemon and Sage Body Butter
Gatineau Collagene Expert Eye Pads
Lord and Berry Strobing Pencil

I can show you everything except the Collagene Eye Pads, which I can only show actually on my face, as I'd removed it from the packaging already, but these are R E A L L Y fucking good. I have a bit of a problem with my dark circles, and I really hate them, so I was eager to try this out. It has a gloopy formula but it felt really cooling, and I think that it did make a difference to my undereye area afterwards. I'm not sure that it's lasted, though, so I'd probably do one every week or two, depending on how drying or damaging the ingredients are.

1. The BareMinerals lipstick.
This has a satin texture and I think it's quite a slick sort of lipstick. The colour payoff is nice and it's quite strongly scented with the smell I'd associate with powder makeup, so if this really isn't your thing, it might not be the product for you.

2. Arian Liquid Gold BB Cream
This claims to be for all skin tones. However, this did look quite...golden I suppose, but to the point of being orange. I definitely have quite pale skin, even if it looks darker here, so I was quite intrigued to see how orange it would look. I tested on the palest part of my body: the inside of my arm and the results were quite surprising. It's shown here under the swatch of the lipstick, but while it is a bit too orange, I was quite heavy handed. With the lightest of touches, this MAY work for lighter tones, but I'm not sure I believe their 'all tones' statement entirely.

3. Purifying Shampoo
I'm always a little bit hesitant to try shampoos that aren't my tried and tested and much-relied-upon TreSemme. However I did have a go with it, and although it's very cleansing, I wouldn't change my current routine as it left my hair a little bit lacklustre.

4. Lemon. Moisture. Yay.

5. Lord & Berry Strobing Pencil
I'm pretty sure I've saved the best until last. Just looook at the colour. What I really love is the sort of rose gold hint that without flash or bright lights is delicate and beautiful, but when under light really comes into its own and sparkles. I would say I find pencils harder to deal with, but this isn't so hard that it causes any problems.
